Dr. Linda Baggett, Ph.D.
Welcome to this space!
My name is Dr. Linda Baggett and I help women:
Find and strengthen their true inner voice and turn down the noise of others and the inner critic.
Attune to what they truly need in order to have healthy relationships with self and others.
Overcome whatever barriers (past, present, and future, internal and external) stand between them and their best selves.
So that
They can live their best lives and make a positive impact on those around them, creating a ripple effect of healing.
My approach to therapy is from a collaborative, compassionate lens and draws from a variety of evidence-based treatments, individually tailoring them to your particular goals, preferences, identities, and needs.
Are you struggling with…
Feeling bad about your body, but tired of what diet culture puts women through?
Low sexual desire, questions about sexual identity, or avoidance of sexual intimacy?
The hormonal and emotional roller coasters (that nobody warns you about) of pregnancy, postpartum, or perimenopause?
The heavy pain of pregnancy loss or fertility challenges?
How to have healthy, happy relationships after a lifetime of unhealthy relationships?
Old traumas, hurts, or betrayals holding you back from your full potential?
Perfectionism, self-criticism, or imposter syndrome?
Treating yourself (or being treated) as good as you treat others?
The utterly impossible expectations placed on women?
Whether you’re dealing with any of these issues and the other emotions they may bring:
—depression, anxiety, fear, anger, shame, and more—
Well Woman Psychology offers a variety of services that focus on your specific needs.
Well Woman Psychology
…aims to nurture, uplift, and empower women to cope with the unique issues they are facing.
I approach therapy from a collaborative, compassionate lens and draw from a variety of evidence-based treatments, individually tailoring them to your particular goals, preferences, identities, and needs.
I practice from an intersectional feminist lens, meaning that I honor and consider the ways in which your gender intersects with other aspects of identity (such as race, ethnicity, size, disability, sexual orientation, faith perspective, age, and national origin) to affect your experiences, including and especially, experiences of oppression.
Given what you have been through and how you adapted, I assume that all behaviors, thought patterns, and feelings make perfect sense and helped you survive difficult experiences. All coping is wise. This holds true even if they're not so effective now. I help clients build new, more effective ways to cope so that they can become the best version of themselves and live their best lives.

Why Well Woman Psychology?
Women have made a multitude of gains in today’s world and are “doing it all,” but there are still many barriers to living our best lives, including patriarchal expectations and burdens, racism, fatphobia…the list goes on and on. There is excessive pressure to be perfect and there are countless responsibilities on women, which can make life overly difficult to navigate. Many women are giving so much to others but have a harder time giving to themselves. They need someone in their corner to care for them and help them connect with themselves.
I Offer:
A safe space for you to be your full self, even, and especially, the vulnerable, tender parts that are hard to face and even harder to show.
Compassion to help you see that you are doing the best you can. Even the things you don’t like about yourself or want to change, you learned those somewhere and they helped protect you or met your needs in the circumstances you were in.
Direct and kind feedback to help you see what you can’t in the moment.
Thought-provoking questions to help you see things from new angles and better understand yourself.
Tools to cope with emotions and navigate relationships.
Professional boundaries to help your therapy be a space focused solely on you. (And perhaps, this is the only space in your life you have for that.)
Someone to bear witness to your pain and be with you through it. Helping you slow down and learn to reconnect with yourself. Helping you start to view your emotions not as a problem to be suppressed but as valuable information about your needs. Helping you learn to feel safe being vulnerable and see the strength and value in doing so.
